‘STATE OF THE PWSX’ ADDRESS
Good evening, Ladies
and Gentlemen.
Allow me to introduce myself – my name is Kurt
Kaoss, and I am the new Co-Chairman of the PWSX brand. I was approached
by Rick Robinson to take over PWSX, as he was getting complaints about
how the fed was being booked, run, etc. So I accepted, and brought in my
best friend of 10 years to help me – Laura Phoenix. She and I are
partners, 50/50 on this venture, and we both will be making decisions,
and talking to each other on the continuing development of PWSX…this is a
team effort, and I’ll touch on that a little more shortly.
Our
vision for the PWSX is to make this fun again, and to watch all of you
succeed in whatever facet you implore here. Laura and I hold the old
school beliefs that if you want anything in this world; you’re going to
work for it. Which brings me to my first point:
Contracts: All
contracts will be honored until the contract runs out, and then you will
have the option to renew, or be released. But, let this serve as
notice: with a contract renewal, we will NOT be offering any guaranteed
title shots. You will have to earn that right, just like everyone else.
The only exception to this rule is the Champion’s rematch clause… i.e.
if the champ looses their title, they are entitled to ONE (1) rematch.
If they lose, they’ll have to fight for another. Laura and I have been
doing this a long time, and we are fair. If you work hard and bust your
ass for us, we will notice. On the other end of the spectrum, if you
submit a 500 word roleplay, with grammar issues and punctuation
problems, don’t expect us to hand you a title shot, end of discussion.
Shows:
Shows are now called ‘Thursday Night Throwdown’. Roleplays will be due
on Tuesdays at 11 pm E.S.T…there will be no exceptions to this rule,
unless it is an extreme emergency, in which you need to get a hold of
myself and/or Laura in advance if possible. 3 unexplained no shows will
result in a 2 show suspension, any more after that will result in your
characters immediate release. Also for the time being, we will be
writing out short results for Throwdown, and writing out full PPV’s,
until we get a dependable writing team in place. If you feel like you
can help in this department, feel free to drop Laura or myself a PM and
let us know what you can do. We realize that real life comes first, and
we don’t want you to stretch yourself too thin….if you have the time to
help, great. Laura is a former Head Writer for another fed we belong to,
so she can help anyone who would like to write, but not sure how to;
and I am a match writer myself.
Mastermind: As you have all
probably noticed, the boards are gone. This was done directly or
indirectly by Mastermind, as he told a member of the roster that ‘Had he
been given notice about the change, he would’ve left in a more
professional manner’. So, all your hard work was attempted to be erased,
with Mastermind not thinking or caring about anyone in this fed, except
himself. We here at PWSX wish him the best in whatever endeavors he
pursues. We won’t trash Mastermind’s legacy, despite HOW MUCH he fucked
us and you over, here he’s built quite a ship and we intend on
continuing on sailing through it and making sure this place becomes even
greater than before.
Roleplays: As for the RPs for the fed, they
will be judged on quality, not quantity. For the basics the minimum
will be 200 words, we really don’t want to install a maximum limit but
if it starts to get out of hand we will. Until we can get a voting
committee installed we will be reading all Roleplays and deciding the
winners. We will also factor in the stuff that you do in the offshow
forums that help further your storylines. Those that put in the time and
effort will be rewarded. Once again like stated before 3 unexplained no
shows will result in a 2 show suspension anything after that and you
will have your outright release.
Team Effort: Laura and I have
the final word on what happens around here, but we also want input from
the superstars. If you have a storyline idea, character development for
your character, or maybe something that will push the PWSX to a whole
new level….feel free to PM either of us. We will talk about it, and then
get back to you on your idea in a timely manner.
Ok, as for what is happening. PWSX is going black for 2
weeks…during that time we will be making sure things get back up and
running, once we know where everything is we will book the first
Throwdown RP threads and get set to get this thing back going.
That’s all we have for now. On a side note; Laura and I
will NOT be running wrestling characters here, as we want to just run
management characters and watch the PWSX superstars shine, and not have
any of the political BS thrown around. If you have any questions, please

all hours.
